Avatar: The Last Airbender (Book 2)

Time for some more Avatar: The Last Airbender with Book 2. Following on from Book 1, Aang and Katara have successfully learned how to Waterbend from a teacher in the North Pole. Along with Sokka, the three are now travelling to find an Earthbending teacher for Aang. It stops when they find Toph Beifong who, though blind, can be considered one of the best Earthbenders out there. But the story doesn't just stop there, for the many-layered aspect comes into play once again when the gang learn more of the Fire Nation war and internal government corruption in the Earth Kingdom capital, Ba Sing Se. New characters are introduced into the story, such as Toph, Zuko's younger sister Azula (who we see at the end of Book 1), and those in the Earth Kingdom.
Zuki and Iroh are still around too, but not as you saw them in Book 1. This time, they're also being hunted down by Azula. She's much more ruthless than Zuko, and was given the task of hunting down the Avatar too. Zuko is also wondering about his mission to capture the Avatar whilst he is undercover with his uncle, so expect character development guys. And a change in hairstyle.

The story has extra mystery added to it, and with the introduction of Azula and her friends, you can guarantee that there is much more action involved when she encounters Aang and co, not to mention Zuko and Iroh. There is also a part where Aang, Katara and Toph, Sokka, Zuko, Iroh and Momo (Aang's pet flying lemur) each have an episode to themselves that builds on the characters and the story during the Ba Sing Se events. Appa, who has more of a role this time, has an episode to himself too. Also, some characters who were introduced in Book 1 make another appearance in Book 2 as well.

With all this character and story complexity, you may wonder how it will all be delivered. But not to worry, because if you enjoyed Book 1 you will definitely enjoy Book 2.
