Attack on Titan (Live Action Movie Trailer) First Impressions

Having seen the Attack on Titan (Japanese: Shingeki no Kyojin) anime, I can say that it is a good one to watch (and recommend the manga too), and I know what I should expect from the movie.

For those of you unfamiliar with Attack on Titan, the story is as follows:
The last remnants of humanity were forced to retreat behind towering city walls many years ago to escape massive, man-eating Titans that roamed outside the walls. Those who ventured beyond the walls, the Scouting Legion, seldom returned alive. Those who remained within the safety of the walls however, clung to the illusion that they were safe from the Titans until the day this dream was shattered, further reducing their chances of survival to one choice - to kill, or be devoured.

As in the manga and anime, the movie follows Eren Jaeger, a young boy living with the safety of the walls and sees this dream shatter, resulting in him having to make the decision to kill or be devoured. The trailer does show promise, as it vaguely shows this (depending on which you see first), and includes all the key parts and moments - fans will not be disappointed. By the looks of things, the movie may finish up to a certain point in the middle of the anime series, but this may only come to light once the movie is released. If so, we may see more movies for the series, just as we have seen for Death Note (two live-action movies)
