There's a nice mix of characters featuring in the story, which itself is original too (unless there are manga with similar plots out there which I'm not aware of). Each [significant] character comes with a backstory and character development as they become friends with Mizuki, so expect a lot of high school drama, close shaves for Mizuki, lots of comedy and of course, romance.
Not only that, there is a live-action drama of Hana Kimi. Well, two versions: Korean and Japanese. I haven't seen any yet, but according to some comments I've read, the Japanese version is better, so I may watch it and review it some time soon. And it turns out there are two versions of the Japanese drama too: Hana Kimi and Hana Kimi remake. I'll watch the original.
If you want to know whether or not you should read this, I say definitely. If you're unsure, in the comments section for the page on Mangahere, someone asked if it's worth it and people are telling them yes. So why not guys?
